What exactly is dry hire?
A dry hire wedding venue is a place to get married that is undecorated and free from specific suppliers and dictated running order. You will choose everything about your big day including the order of service, decoration, florals, caterers, bar, styling and many other aspects. The choice is yours!

At Boconnion we work with the wonderful team at Absolute Canvas who specialise in marquees of all shapes and sizes. We’ve done all the hard work already and can advise which marquee will fit and work best in each location throughout the estate, and can help you in terms of placement, shape and size. Whilst some venues will have a limited head count, the Boconnion estate prides itself on welcoming over 150 of your friends and family if you opt for a marquee wedding.

Choose from our extensive selection of wedding stylists, florists, cake creators, stationary designers, caterers and bars to design a day that is as unique as you. Boconnion welcomes you to mix and match your suppliers. If you want a floral arch around every entrance, food vans in the evening and a live band on the lawn, let’s make it happen.
Your day, your way
Package wedding days may require you to fit into their time frames and running order. Boconnion is a dry hire venue and doesn’t restrict you at all! If you opt for a celebrant ceremony in the grounds you can say ‘I do’ whenever you like. Don’t fancy cutting the cake? Don’t do it. Settle on whatever theme you wish. Have your first dance poolside or in our newly renovated-yet-rustic reception barn. Sit down for your wedding breakfast as the stars come out. The running order of the day is truly your preference and I’ll be here to make sure the day runs smoothly too.
