Boconnion Real Weddings Inspiration: Clare and Steve
Last summer we welcomed Clare and Steve to the estate to celebrate their small, intimate wedding with 11 of their closest family. They stay in the Georgian Manor, got married on the lawn in front of the house and dined alfresco. The personal ceremony consisted of a special hand-fastening, where all the guests were involved in tying the ribbon, symbolising the binding of their families.
Prior to the big day commencing Kim Holland was on hand to take care of hair and make up, Floribunda decorated the house and gardens with beautiful floral arrangements and The Cornish Cakery created a stunning wedding cake to be enjoyed after the wedding breakfast. All the delicious catering was taken care of by our trusted suppliers at Dish Cornwall.
The wedding planning was undertaken by Boconnion’s in-house wedding planner Caroline Griffiths:

Throughout the day photography was provided by our recommended supplier Steven Prebble and background music (that turned into a family sing-a-long!) was taken care of by Roger Miners, our recommended pianist with an extensive repertoire of classical, love songs and family favourites.
After the ceremony everyone changed into comfier clothes and headed to the heated pool for a pool party, pizza and wine. The family dog, Bella, was also invited and enjoyed running around in the gardens.
The wedding day was incredibly relaxed and Clare and Steve made it exactly how they wanted it. The happy couple needed nothing more than to celebrate their love for one another whilst making sure their guests felt chilled and happy throughout the entire day.
